VibrantCast didn’t start with a plan, it started with a problem.

When their daughter began her journey as a working artist, founders Steve and Elva Arend saw firsthand how hard it was to gain exposure, connect with collectors, and turn creative passion into a sustainable career. At the time, they had an open storefront on Chicago’s north side that Steve had been using for his corporate work. One day, they looked at the space, and each other, and asked, What if we made this a gallery?

They opened their doors, learned quickly, and discovered they weren’t alone in sensing the gaps in the art world. Artists needed more than a wall to hang their work, they needed visibility, feedback, momentum, and most of all, connection.

Today that idea has grown into a digital hub supporting creative communities across Chicago and beyond. Artists use VibrantCast to showcase their work, track where it’s being shown, receive inquiries, and invite deeper engagement through layered media like audio, video, and personal stories.

Galleries use the platform to streamline their exhibitions, manage submissions, and post upcoming shows that appear on a citywide art discovery map.

Collectors follow the artists they love, explore nearby exhibitions, and connect with work and artists that resonates with them, both online and in real life.

Whether you’re an artist looking to grow your reach, a gallery aiming to simplify your workflow and connect with new audiences, or a collector searching for meaningful art in your neighborhood, VibrantCast was built with you in mind.
