Can I message artists directly?

Currently, collectors can contact artists by sending an inquiry on a specific piece.

What’s the difference between following an artist and saving their work?
  • Following an artist means you’ll get updates when they post new work or appear in events.
  • Saving a piece adds it to your personal folders. Think of it like a wishlist or inspiration board.

What is the Pulse feed, and how can I use it as a collector?

The Pulse is your real-time feed for all things art.
You can post about:

  • Local fairs, gallery visits, or shows you’ve attended.
  • Art you love
  • A recent purchase
  • A favorite artist

It’s a great way to celebrate what inspires you and connect with others doing the same.

How do I save artwork I’m interested in?

Just tap the Save button on any artwork page. It will be added to your Pin page automatically.

What is the Pin page? What can I do with it?

Your Artboard page is your personal collector space. Here you’ll find:

  • Captured images that you have added
  • Saved artwork
  • Artists you’re following
  • Folders you’ve created (e.g. “Living Room,” “Wish List,” “Inspiration”)
  • Purchases you’ve made through VibrantCast
How do I save artwork I’m interested in?

Yes! You can create as many folders as you like and drop any saved artwork into them for easy reference.

What happens after I make an inquiry on a piece?

The artist (or gallery) will receive a notification and respond to your message. You’ll get an alert when they reply so you can continue the conversation.

 Purchasing Artwork

Can I purchase artwork directly through the platform?

Yes! Start by pressing the Inquiry button on a piece you love. From there, you and the artist can discuss payment, shipping, and details directly.

What if I want to make an offer or negotiate the price?

You’re welcome to include an offer in your inquiry. Many artists are open to conversation, especially around commissions or bundled purchases.

How do I know if the artwork is still available?

If the piece is still visible and doesn’t say “Sold,” it’s likely available. If you’re unsure, send an inquiry, the artist can confirm status.

Is this platform just for Chicago collectors, or is it open nationwide?

Anyone can join and use VibrantCast but our current focus is on the Chicago art scene. As we grow, more cities will follow.

How do I stay updated about new artists or events?
  • Follow artists to get alerts about their activity

  • Browse the Discover and Events pages often.
What happens if I want to delete my account? Do I lose my folders or purchases?

We’re finalizing our data retention policy. For now, if you delete your account, your folders and saved content will be permanently removed.
Purchased items will remain in your email as confirmation, but may not be accessible through the platform after deletion.
