VibrantCast invites artists to be part of a one week art exhibition at the Hairpin Arts Center!

Join us for the Opening, an immersive evening where art, storytelling, and live music come together in a vibrant, ticketed event 

Theme

We’re curating an exhibition of meaningful, story-driven artwork. A few standout pieces will also be chosen and paired with writers who will create an original story or poem inspired by the art. Those chosen will be notified separately.

Artwork Guidelines

• Size Limit: 42” x 48”
• Submit up to 3 pieces 
• Presentation: All images submitted must be properly cropped and sharp.
• Must be wired and ready to hang
• Required Info: Title, dimensions, price, medium, and the story behind the piece

Submissions Missing Details will not be considered.

Visibility & Sales

• All accepted artwork is for exhibition and sale.
• The commission on sales is 40%. Please price your work accordingly.
• All accepted artwork and stories will be featured on the VibrantCast platform for 3 weeks after the event

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: Wednesday, July 9 (11:00 PM)
• Acceptance Notifications Sent: By Friday, July 11
• Drop-Off: Monday, August 4 (12:00 – 6:00 PM at Hairpin)
• Opening Night: Thursday, August 7 (6:00 – 9:30 PM)
• Closing Night: Thursday, August 14 (6:00 – 8:00 PM)
• Venue: Hairpin Arts Center – 2810 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago

Application Fee to Participate

The application fee to apply is $35. This non-refundable fee helps support the event and its production costs.

After you pay the application fee, you will receive an email with the next steps. We look forward to working with you!
